Training sessions are split into Junior and Senior sessions. Entry into squads is determined by the age of the swimmer and/or by their level of swimming ability.
Junior Squad swimmers are encouraged to build the number of sessions they attend as they grow in experience and skills. The coaches advise what training schedule is best for each swimmer as they progress.
Senior Squad Swimmers are offered up to 7 sessions a week, including a land training session.
The training programme is scheduled throughout the year to work on technique, stamina, and the skills required to help competitive swimmers.
